New opener has big boots to fill as Aussies start tour.(Sports)

JOHANNESBURG: Left-handed Australian openers of recent vintage have caused South Africa sufficient pain to justify Mickey Arthur's proposed MI6-style filming tactics at this weekend's tour match between Australia and a South African President's XI in Potchefstroom.

The retirements of Justin Langer and Matthew Hayden, Test cricket's most dominant opening duo of the last decade, does not necessarily make South Africa's task easier as there are two more left-handed openers they're likely to face in the first Test at the Wanderers next week.
